Composition of the fragrance
The initial notes of bergamot, lemon and aromatic lavender already bring an air of pleasure. They’re closely followed by delicate powdery notes of iris accompanied by glowing jasmine and rose. Finally, the base notes of the composition include notes of vanilla in a harmonious embrace with tolu balsam and patchouli, forming an exceptionally sensual impression.

Guerlain Shalimar Philtre de Parfum was designed by Thierry Wasser, Guerlain’s own in-house perfumer who decided to bring out the velvety nature of iris and the sensuality of vanilla which serve as a link to the original Shalimar.
